God’s Land is dedicated to building a 1000 sustainable micro mobile tiny homes built from repurposed materials.
These houses will be donated to our houseless community members in Thurston County to assist them in sheltering-in-place until permanent supportive housing can be achieved.
Our first home was a prototype that was designed out of pallets. The project was funded by our executive director, and built by her and several volunteers, and donated to the church. This is the only home we will build which was sold to a buyer after being donated to the church.
The reason for selling was to use the money from Halloween House to file for our 1023 application fee with the IRS for obtaining our 501(c)3 status. It also paid for mobile case manager tablets and keyboards, outreach supplies and other provider based fees.
Moving forward all 999 micro tiny homes will be freely donated to our vulnerable community members in need.
We religiously believe that shelter is a human right supported by God.
