What is FCS?
FCS is a Washington State program that provides housing and employment support to medicaid beneficiaries who are experiencing one or more complex health need and one or more risk factor.
Boots on the ground
Our mobile unit allows us to meet people where they are at and provide intensive case management services to Thurston County. Giving us the unique advantage of being able to enter encampments and travel the streets where we can park and offer all the amenities of a brick-and-mortar office complete with a meal and supplies.
We find this type of mobile connection bring us closer to the community we are trying to serve and removes the high established barriers that are associated with traditional provider methods. Such methods which often exclude our most vulnerable community members from receiving dire services.
